No coherent plot exists; instead the texts evoke a series of situations which are divided into a three-part structure (1. Primo vere / Uf dem Anger, 2. In taberna, 3. Cour d'amours / Blanziflor et Helena) which is set within the frame of the chorus »Fortuna imperatrix mundi« and its repeat. A variety of figures participate as character types. [1]
