The Orff Schulwerk Forum Salzburg was established in 1983 as a non-profit making organisation and fulfils its function in close cooperation with the Carl Orff Foundation, the Orff Institute, the Orff Centre in Munich and all international Orff Schulwerk Societies.

The objective of the Orff Schulwerk Forum is to collect information on work connected with the Orff Schulwerk, make this information available internationally and encourage the exchange of experiences.

The Orff Schulwerk Forum publishes the biannual periodical Orff Schulwerk Information which includes articles on current topics associated with elemental music and dance education and Orff Schulwerk international activities.
